[/u]General Rules
I'm going to make these rules easy to abide by. There aren't many, so please be sure to follow them! Thank you.
1. Respect all RolePlayers as well as Staff.
2. Please keep bad language to a minimum. Certain points can be made with curse words, but please, not every single post.
3. Absolutely no cursing in OOC.
4. The password for joining is "horse".
5. Though this RPG is not based around dating as most are, but dating is allowed. Just be sure to RP based on the site as well, instead of just cultivating relationships.
6. Please keep accurate punctuation! This is why we have something called: SPELL CHECK.
7. No power playing unless you have the fellow player's permission.
8. Though this rule isn't enforced as severly as it is on most sites, please keep your posts longer than 200 words. It isn't hard, describe the surroundings, your characters feelings, thoughts, create, Role playing is just that.
9.You may have Two Characters on one account, though, it's preffered that you make one account per Character. Because your character name must be your account name.
10.
‘R’ content can go on through PM's, or just put a tag on the thread name.Housing
1.
Dorms are assigned to students, as are to the counselors/trainers. Ranch Hands stay in the bunkhouses. Students, go to the office for your Dorm Number. Trainers and Ranch Hands, go to the Office to get your Number as well. Though, you may post where you wish.
2.
If your character is a trainer, you may request a nearby [small] ranch, yet this board MUST be used, otherwise it will be deleted.
Jobs
1. We won't keep track of money or anything, jobs are just a nice way to make it more real and so that you are actually purchasing things and interacting with more characters than just One or Two.
2. You may work anywhere in town. Request a job in the Requests board and an admin will let you know if you've gotten the job or not.
3.
As we see fit, there will be a list of jobs put upon the rules board. Some jobs may be only taken by one or two people. First come, First serve.
RP Rules
1.
You may make a character between the ages of 5-18. This age group is the students. The age group for counselors/trainers is 19+
2.
It is innapropriate for a Student to have a Relationship with a Trainer or Ranch Hand. This rule is there for the sole reason, a good plot might come out of it. That, and, it isn't something that is much allowed in real life, correct?
3.
Please be sure to RP with more than just one person! This keeps the site active. It's okay to rp in two boards at once, they can be at different times.
4.
Please RP corresponding to the weather. Keep your posts to a 200 word Minimum, though sometimes loss of muse happens, if it continues, you will be notified.
5.
Some boards require pass words to post. Some will be allowed the pass to that certain board, but mostly these are hidden for certain reasons.
6.
As life goes on, any character that is a Trainer or Ranch Hand, may get married, have children, such the like. Though, remember, this board is not mainly about such things.
Trainer Rules.
1.
You can bring your own horse, dog or cat. A bunkhouse will be assigned to you. Post your characters name and their horses name in the office board and your buckhouse and stall will be assigned.
2.
Yes, the students must listen to you, and you may punish them, but please, no pping and be nice as well! Even so, make friends with the students.
3.
As with the rules up top, it is completely inappropriate to have a relationship with the students.
Student Rules
1.
You may not bring your own horse, one will be assigned to you, go to the Office board and it will be assined to you. You RP this horse, or someone else may if you wish. Though be reasonable. These horses are abused, abandoned and neglected. They may be unpredictable. Though, it isn't often you work your horse without permission. This is an earned priveledge. You may ride, hike, wherever you like, just so long as you do not enter the bar.
2.
Try to abide by the rules, though most students will be coming from hard homes as well as having mental disorders, not every character has to be the same. Please, we need variety!
3.
Students please, respect authority. We understand these characters may also be unpredictable, as in vandalizing/breaking rules, such the like, but it's much easier to keep up if you put something in the thread name that signifies your Character breaking a Ranch rule, so we may reply, if nescesarry. The students don't get away with everything.
Ranch Hands:
1.
Most of the trainers rules go for these characters. Yet, be responsible. Don't slack off, be sure to do your job and do it right. Yes, you get hurt on the job on occasion, but don't go too far.
2.
Be sure to respect the children residing here, though cleaning up after them is a hassle. Though a Ranch Hand won't be 'hands on' with the students, if they see someone breaking one of the few rules, take a bit of action.
3.
There will be openings for this job, we don't need twenty ranch hands doing the same job over and over. Put some variety! For now, there will only be four openings.
UNIVERSAL RULE.
The rules aren't too tough, so please abide by them! Most of all, have fun! [the real password for the joining board is "goodrulereader".]
More rules will be added as needed!
